Smallholding Scotland is a one-day conference dedicated to those working on and interested in small-scale agriculture and horticulture in Scotland. The 2017 conference took place on Friday 17th February at Pitcairngreen near Perth.
It is an all-day event with refreshments and lunch included in the ticket price of £25. The conference is a great opportunity for smallholders to:
- Meet up to discuss issues of importance to them
- Learn from experts across a range of topics related to smallholding and small-scale food production
- Enjoy a bit of smallholder chat and socialising before the days get longer and outdoor tasks start to take priority.
The conference has a single stream, providing six presentations in all throughout the day.
Smallholding Scotland is is supported by NFU Mutual and the Scottish Government and is organised by Smallholding Events Scotland, a not-for-profit company. We also organise the Scottish Smallholder Festival, held annually at Lanark Agricultural Centre in September.
